May 1 brought in the first cruise ship of the season. Note to anyone who ever thinks they want to take a cruise here...don't. There are better ways to see SE Alaska.
Steve's in Wisconsin until Sunday, loving the sunshine I'm sure. This week is my last week of classes for the semester (finally!) and I'm working on a couple of take home final exams. Tonight a bunch of students have tickets for the Arlo Guthrie concert in town and tomorrow I am going on a short boat trip/wildlife viewing trip out to Berners Bay. I hope it's not raining, but it'll still be fun even if it is.
